FAQ
What is the bike's weight?

The bike weighs 79lbs.

What type of power/watts does the Freerider have? Does it have 1 or 2 motors?

This is an 8kw / 8000watt controller. The bike can be upgraded to 12kw and soon there will be a 14kw upgrade.

There's only one brushless motor on this motorcycle.

What is the maximum rider weight recommended?

The weight limit on the standard shock is 220 lbs. The shock can be upgraded without a problem.

Is it road legal?

No, this model the Freerider is offroad only.

Is the bike quiet or is there a simulated sound of a gas powered bike?

The bike is silent. The only noises you hear are the chain movement.

What is the charge time?

The Freerider charges to 80% in one hour and 100% in 2 hours and 30 minutes.

How long does it run a full charge?

The Freerider last one hour at full throttle the whole time. There is a lot of factors to consider like the terrain and weight of the rider. From our experience riding off road, you can get 20 to 25 miles in one charge. You can always carry an extra battery and swap it in less than 2 mins.

How fast does it reach top speed? At full throttle from a stop without using your weight can you pop a wheelie?

Top speed of the 8kw model is 34mph
Top speed of the 12kw model is 40mph
Top speed of the 14kw model is 56mph

On the standard 8 kw model, you will flip backwards if you hit the throttle to full speed from a stop. These bikes are made to maximize torque and acceleration. You can get a higher top speed by changing the sprocket size but will sacrifice torque.

How much does an extra battery cost and how much does it weigh?

You can purchase an additional battery from a Kuberg Dealer. The battery weighs about 15 lbs.
