Being offered today is a 7 CONSECUTIVE SET OF STAR 1957 Series $ 1 Silver Certificate. These notes are all in CHOICE UNCIRCULATED CONDITION!

It’s very rare to find 7 consecutive star notes of silver certificates.

The notes are centered very well, and the ink just pops off the notes. The colors are bright and bold. This notes have fantastic eye appeal. The note shows no sign of wear on the corners or the sides. All of the corners and edges of the notes are crisp and clean. There are no pinholes, rips, stains, or tears. Each note will be encased in a long-term preservation holder. The holders are made to enhance the presentation of the encapsulated notes and tampering.

The Silver Certificate is designated by the Blue Seal on the right center of the note. It also has “Silver Certificate” on the top center of the note. The notes are all in Choice Uncirculated condition or higher. They look like they were just printed yesterday. All of the notes that we offer will be of a high grade or we don’t sell them.

The 1957 $1 dollar Silver Certificate has 3 different notes in the series. They start in 1957 and then go from 1957 “A” to 1957 “B”. The reason for the different types of notes is that when the “Treasurer of the United States” or the “Secretary of the Treasury” changes, by law they must print notes bearing their name. That is how the “A” through “B” series works, or any other dated currency with multiple lettering in the series. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing or BEP will print millions of “backs” of notes for a series. Then print a set number of “fronts” of the notes as needed for the series with the correct Treasurer of The United States or Secretary of The Treasury. You can locate their signatures on the bottom left side and bottom right side of the front of the note.
